North East Educational Forum (N.E.E.F.) is a social service organisation ,working in and around Bongaigaon for the social action and development. since its inception in 1st June, 2003 . It is relentlessly engaged in the field of Health, Education , Youth and Women empowerment and life-skill development for the adolescents.
More About Us
We have been registered under Society Registration Act 1960 since 2005 and our registration is renewed upto 2020. We have also been registered with 12A & 80G of Income Tax Dept. We had been working along with N.Y.K.S., I.I.E., N.R.H.M.,I.I.M..and at present are working with NABARD, I,T,I, DIC, SSB, NRHM, LIC etc. with credibility . To our credit, we have received till now-
1-District Youth Award-2005-06 from NYK 2-Chief Minister’s Best Community Award-2011 3-Chief Minister’s Best Community Action Award-2016 4-Our Secretary Smt. Sujata Pasayat was awarded Zila Mahila Samman-2014. 5-One each of our SHG named Ekata & JLG named Shree Jagannatha are awarded as Best SHG and Best JLG in Assam State Level Award by NABARD in 2018
NORTH EAST EDUCATIONAL FORUM(NEEF) is engaged in the activity of gender sensitisation since 2005. With one of its objectives being women empowerment, this sensitisation is the cornerstone of its very existence. Bringing the women to the main flow of socio-economic activities necessitates the gender sensitisation along with gender parity. Through SHGs, JLGs, Street Plays , Public Meetings and Rallies we are spreading the awareness of gender sensitisation from time to time. Besides that, case studies and counselling are also being seriously undertaken to promote this aspect of family and social harmony .We have a strong volunteer group along with more than 60(sixty) SHGs with more than 1200(twelve hundred )women in them.
